Thailand and Cambodia\u00a0 signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening the management of the repatriation and reintegration of human trafficking victims.<\/p>\n
The MoU was signed on behalf of the Cambodian government by Nhek Vannara, a Social Affairs Ministry secretary of state, …\u00a0Mr Vannara said both sides agreed that the MoU would further benefit victims of human trafficking during the repatriation process.<\/p>\n

The government also created a working group at the Poipet border to seek information from workers who were repatriated from Thailand about how they were trafficked to Thailand.<\/p>\n
San Nam Yong, deputy director of the working group, said that all workers who are deported from Thailand are housed in one place where they are questioned on their ordeal before being sent to their home provinces.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe ask them why they were deported, how they had entered and why did they go there,\u201d she said. \u201cAfter we gather all the information, we allow them to go.\u201d<\/p>\n
