BANGKOK, Thailand \u2013 Thailand has officially announced its readiness to host the Bangkok Pride Festival 2025, positioning the event as a celebration of diversity and a demonstration of the country\u2019s commitment to equality and human rights. The announcement was made this morning (May 19) by Prime Minister\u2019s Office Minister Jiraporn Sindhuprai during a press conference at the Public Relations Department (PRD)\u2019s Media Center on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road.<\/p>\n
The press event was attended by PRD Director-General Sudruetai Lertkasem, deputy directors, government officials, and representatives from partner organizations across various sectors.<\/p>\n
Scheduled for May 30 to June 1 on Rama I Road, the festival will run under the theme \u201cBorn This Way\u201d and is expected to attract over 300,000 participants. The highlight will be the Bangkok Pride Parade on June 1, featuring a 200-meter-long rainbow and identity flag procession. Organizers say the event builds on Thailand\u2019s progress on marriage equality and supports Bangkok\u2019s campaign to host World Pride 2030.<\/p>\n
The festival is being organized in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Naruemit Pride Co., Ltd., and a network of public and private partners.
